The kitchen, den and family room were all combined to create a fluid and open space.  New maple floors and cabinets with light stain add warmth but keep the spaces bright and simple.  A maple dividing partition can slide into the dining space to provide a separation from kitchen activities if required

The stone hearth remained the core of the home.  Large maple windows opened the Living Room.

The narrow existing bathroom was re-imagined with an open shower, cast concrete counters and soft maple cabinets to maintain continuity.

The master bath was carved out of an exiting small bedroom that was moved to the basement.  The walk-in closet is tucked behind the one way vanity mirror allowing natural light to filter into the closet area.
