Pavilion + Retreat

DESCRIPTION:

This outdoor pavilion was envisioned as a retreat for wellness, calm and relaxation.  The owners sought a space to unwind- with a hot tub, cold plunge and sauna integrated into a tranquil garden setting.

Using wood and steel, our studio created a simple pole structure that sits lightly on the surrounding landscape.  Retractable screens provide protection from insects during warmer months while offering a subtle sense of enclosure and privacy.  The pavilion's open, minimal form invites connection to nature and seasonal change- a quiet sanctuary for restoration and reflection.
