Brad J. Brooks, AIA, NOMA, NCARB

Principal

Brad graduated with a Bachelors in Architectural Studies and Master of Architecture from the University of Nebraska. Working in offices in Arizona, Texas and Nebraska before founding B2Lab has awarded him a broad level of experience on multiple project types. His approach is valued in delivering clear ideas, and his character traits blend approachable, dependable and sincere design.  He is motivated by craft and investigating the relationship between buildings and landscape.  Brad is integrally involved in every phase of the design process from programming through construction administration.   He is involved in establishing the design direction working with staff and clients on resolving interpretative issues to insure meaningful outcomes that combine the union of form, function and material exploration.

His collaborations reveal the potential in every project and juxtapose complex client motives and programs with clear expression and architectural purpose. He has a skill for communicating obstacles, and solutions in a language clients understand.

Having worked in the construction industry for years provides a framework for early design decisions to interface efficiently with construction and materials applications.  Brad’s attention to how design integrates with construction technology and fabrication allows for the maximized potential of the project realization.
